Here in SLC you have a variety of companies to chose from. You have the large company, working under about 7 different names to the smallest one vehicle one woman team. Go out to the airport any time of day or night, and you will see the giant company's vehicles scattered all over like grazing cattle and you have the other guys picking up what is left.
Some companies have very tasteful company logo's on the end of the side windows, while others such as Ascent VIP Services have their cars looking like a Las Vegas taxicab. Then there is the dress of the drivers, anywhere from tee shirt and Sandals, to high end suit and tie.
One big problem for Drivers in Utah are the wages and how much time they are given to complete a run. Some companies pay just above minimum wage and only an hour for a airport transfer. The best companies pay their drivers at least $ 17 an hour. and give them a 2 hour minimum on transfers. I heard of a company that is paying its their drivers only an hour and 1/4 and keep the drivers tips.
